518,030. Dining tables. BEAUTILITY FURNITURE, Ltd., and SADOW, R. Sept. 2, 1938. No. 25704. [Class 52 (ii)] Panels 4 at the ends of the frame of a refectory table are hinged along the side at 5 or along the top so that they may be moved inwards out of the way of the knees of sitting occupants. The panels may be in two parts separately hinged, and when hinged vertically may be set inwards in alignment with the members 3 of the cross strut of the frame. The inventionmay,be applied to extending tables, the panels being moved only when the table is-unextended. Means for latching the panels in their inward position may be provided.
