676,822. Hopper discharge. DUNCAN, Ltd., W. & M., and PARSONS, R. Feb. 28, 1951. [March 2, 1950] No. 5270/50. Class 78 (i). Hopper 12 detachably secured by post 17 and by support 15 to fixed table 11 and furnished with holes 14 for surplus powder directs tablets into trav 23 formed at its bottom bv said table 11 and bv disc 7 and at its sides by vertical walls 21, 22, the tablets falling into apertures 9 in said disc whilst being supported by underneath fixed table 10, and the surplus tablets being swept back into the tray by rotating brush 24 driven through flexible shaft 26 and pivoted friction wheel 28 from conveyer 27 for discharging the wrapped tablets. The brush, alternately, may be driven intermittently by a ratchet drive.
