[Also in Group XXXII] A folding chair of the kind described and shown in Specification 444, 920 which is referred to, has the cross frame 13 provided with offset portions 15 at the pivot points 16 with the cross frame 12. The links 14, Figs. 4, 5 are each offset to give long and short angularly disposed arm portions which define a shoulder 17 which supports a cross frame side when the chair is open.
