Abstract
674,120. Cultivators. EARISH, J. July 25, 1950 [July 25, 1949], No. 19526/49. Class 6(i) Cultivators, of the kind in which the working tools, such as harrows, hoes and the like, are carried by an expandable frame with a central member 1, side members 4 pivoted thereto at 3, and clampable overlapping rear arms 4", have the central member 1 provided with upstanding bars 16 for attachment to transversely adjustable tool boxes D, Fig. 9, on the tool frame B of a farm tractor T. The tools 7, 12, 15, with or without scuffler blades 8, 13, have long tines engaging the soil horizontally. The rear end of the central member carries an adjustable tool 6 whilst pairs of tools 11, 14 are fixed to the expandable side frame members 4. The tool frame B runs on wheels W adjustable by handles H and can be lifted to raise the tools from the ground by chain M operated from the tractor.
