673,717. Spray-producers. EXTRACTION CONTINUE DE SMET SOC. ANON. Dec. 22, 1949 [Dec. 23, 1948], No. 32888/49. Class 69(iii). The pressure of liquid passing through a conduit 1 acts against a spring 7 on a rod 3 to open a passage 8 between a seat 6 and a plate 5 to produce a horizontal liquid sheet which is directed against one or more series of baffles 17 secured at their upper parts to rings 14. With more than one series of baffles, Fig. 2, they are arranged so that the entire periphery of the liquid sheet is interrupted thereby. The baffles and the centrally disposed conduit 1 are mounted on a support 10 which may carry additional baffles 15.
