Abstract

670,719. Flexible hoses. PNEUMATIC COMPONENTS, Ltd., and BROWN, T. March 30, 1950 [April 13, 1949], No. 9961/49. Classes 99 (i) and 99 (ii) A return hose 10 connecting a manually-controlled inflation valve to a master gauge is disposed within a supply hose 1, which may be reinforced or armoured, that delivers pressure air to the valve. The ends of each hose are independently coupled to connector blocks 7A, 7B, a small union receiving a nipple 12 for the hose 10 being provided within a large-bore nipple 2 of the hose 1 and centrally of the large union receiving the nipple 2. The hose 10 may be capable of being stretched to enable either or both the small unions to be coupled up; alternatively, the hose 10 slightly exceeds the hose 1 in length.
