Abstract
594,839. Inflatable furniture. INGRAM, G. July 2, 1945, No. 16763. [Class 52(iv)] [Also in Group XXI] Buoyant or other furniture consists of one or more inflatable and collapsable units, each comprising an envelope of flexible non- pervious material and rigid end walls containing valve means through which the envelope is inflated by moving the end walls apart. An internal wire diaphragm 10, having stiffeners 11, is secured to the wall 15 of the envelope 16 by doublers 12, 13, and a deflation valve 19 and a non- return valve 20, which may be used for topping-up, are provided in one of the rigid end walls 17.
