[Class 52 (iv)] One cell of an air mattress with intercommunicating chambers is fitted with distending means such as a spring 18, or rubber ball, and with an inlet valve, which may be formed by inturned flaps 16 of the mattress fabric, the cell serving as a pump to inflate the mattress.
