A display device comprises a heavy base member a having an integral short upstanding spigot or socket b for readily detachable engagement by a socket or spigot c at one end of a vertical pillar d carrying rigidly at its upper end a frame e to which a panel f is secured. The frame e is formed as a split ring bolted to the pillar d and the panel f is secured to it by clips h. The base member a is made of reinforced concrete.
