669,786. Artificial teeth. WADE, W. L. April 27, 1950 [June 15, 1949], No. 15908/49. Class 81 (ii). A bite block of wax or other impressionable material has several radiating arms and is adapted to be inserted in the mouth to obtain three point impressions of both the upper and lower jaw ridges simultaneously. The block is preferably of T, Y or V shape and, in use, it is softened and inserted into the mouth so as to receive impressions 2, 3, 4 of the jaws when the patient bites thereon. The centre line 5 and lip line 6 are also marked on the block at the same time. When the plaster casts of the jaws have been prepared these are supported in the impressions on the bite block so that the correct position is automatically registered.
