In a focussing device for lamp fittings the grooves 4a in a plurality of pins 4 secured to the lamp holder socket 3 and slidable in bushes 5a on the crown 5 of the fitting are selectively engaged by set screws 6 (not shown) in the bushes. Access to the set screws is provided by a door 5c in the wiring box 5b formed on the crown of the fitting.
