Abstract

661,624. Artificial fingernails. BOGOSLOWSKY, B. June 21, 1949 [July 7, 1948], No. 16492/49. Class 81 (ii). A nail coating element comprises a blank 10 of a thin flexible water-proof material having a water-proof pressure sensitive adhesive on one surface thereof. It is applied to the nail as shown in Fig. 4, a file 22 being used to remove the overhanging portion 20. The blanks 10 may be mounted in a booklet 24 adhering lightly to the pages 26 which may be made of polyethylene. In an embodiment the blank 28 has five nail coating elements 30, one for each fingernail. In another form five individual nail coating elements radiate outwardly from a central connecting portion.
