Abstract

661,337. Rolling. MOLLER & NEUMANN SOC. AR.L. July 19, 1949 [July 19, 1948], No. 18991/49. Class 83 (iv). In a rolling-mill, the roll chocks are adjusted verticcally and horizontally by tapering arcuate wedge members 13, 14, the surfaces of which are defined by portions of the peripheries of two eccentrically disposed cylinders. The convex face of each wedge is provided with a toothed rim or the like which is adapted to be engaged by toothed wheels, spiral gears or the like, and the roll chocks are held against the wedge members by springs 12.
