Abstract

658,021. Fountain pens. TERRELL, E., MABIE, TODD & CO., Ltd., and SEARS, E. S April 13, 1949, No. 10058. Drawings to Specification. [Class 146 (iii)) The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 618,279 except that the plunger is provided at its lower end with rounded and necked portions which engage the closed rear end of the sac, the elasticity of which causes it to conform to the contours of the plunger which thereby becomes tightly interconnected to the sac, such interconnection being maintained solely by the elasticity of the sac. The rear end of the sac is formed as a closed nipple having a diameter substantially less than the remainder of the sac.
