657,594. Percussive hand tools; combination tools. SKARSTEN. A., and SKARSTEN MANUFACTURING CO.. Ltd. Nov. 1, 1948, No. 28338. [Classes 61(ii) and 124] A percussive hand tool for repointing walls comprises a shank, a movable tool comprising two blades each of which may be used as a chisel or a scraper, means for fixing the tool to the shank so that one blade, the chisel blade, is aligned with the shank and the other' blade, the scraper blade, projects to one side and a hand operated hammer to impart blows to the tool. As shown, a hollow shank 10 has sliding within it a hammer, operated by a knob 24, which delivers blows to a tool 14 comprising a chisel blade 15 and a scraper blade 16 at right angles to the chisel blade. The tool is mounted in a fork 11 on the shank and maintained therein by a tapered pin 17. The hole in the tool may be slightly offset so that on driving in the pin the tool is securely bedded in the fork.
