[Class 124] [Also in Group XXII] Carbide tipped rock drills comprise a bit inserted in a recess or recesses in a tool body and secured by a shrinking operation. External pressure may be applied to mould the body around the bit. which may be provided with ribs or grooves, see Figures (not shown) mating with grooves or ribs in the recess in the tool body.
