657,248. Mould materials. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. March 8, 1949, No. 6290. Convention date, March 10, 1948. [Class 83 (i)] A mould for casting cobalt base alloy turbine buckets or other metal articles so that they do not require finishing except gate removing, is made from a mixture of zirconite flour 15 pounds, and linseed oil 0.4 to 0.5 quart. The mould may be used for centrifugal or pressure casting. Mixtures in which part of the zirconite is replaced by flint or sand and of the linseed by core oil are referred to.
