[Class 19] '[Also in Groups VI and XIV] A tooth-brush holder particularly for disinfecting purposes comprises a container with an orifice in one wall thereof formed as an inwardly directed tubular mouthpiece which is so dimensioned as to permit the upward passage of the brush head therethrough into the space above the disinfectant and thereafter to prevent the brush from dropping out under its own weight, means being provided whereby the container may be supported with the mouthpiece at its lower end. As shown, the container A has a detachable cap B screwed or otherwise secured thereto. The lower end of the container has a central circular orifice E, which is permanently open, the edges of which form a tubular mouthpiece F and also provide an annular well G for retaining disinfectant, which may be introduced either through the top of the container after removal of the cap B or through the mouthpiece F with the container in the inverted position. A clip K engaging spaced circumferential ribs L on the container A is provided to support the container in a vertical position. The clip may be pivotally connected as by a rivet M to a suitable attachment plate N secured to a wall or the line. In alternative form (not shown), the container may be closed by a plug or by a cap in a permanent or semi-permanent manner.
