Abstract

645,747. Ice-making. NATHANSON, M., COHEN, R., and ROSENTHAL, A. Oct. 16, 1948, No. 26951 [Class 29] Ice confections of irregular and intricate shape, e.g. the figure of a doll, are made in a two-part mould 2 the parts bing held in correct mating position by a liquid-tight container 1, the outer surfaces of the mould parts mating with the inner surface of the container. Both the mould and the container are of material of high thermal conductivity, and each half of the mould has a handle 3. The parts are conical to facilitate removal. After filling with liquid the moulds are placed in a refrigerator or passed through a brine bath, a stick being inserted in the contents of the mould.
