Aug. 6, 1948, No. 20316, [Class 20(iv)] A factory-built pitched roof unit 1 is secured, e.g. at four points, to a cavity brick wall 2 by bolts 7 passing through slotted brackets &c. 5 and apertured plates 3, an oversize or elongated washer plate 9 bearing on the under-surface of the plate which may comprise a concrete block as shown, or an iron plate. A brick may be temporarily omitted from the next course but one of the inner wall below the plate to facilitate access to the bolt. Specification 644,251 is referred to.
