[Class 24] [Also in Group VI] A conveyer chain comprises pairs of links 16 with slots 18 having semi-circular cut outs to receive and hold the ends of pins 17 coupling the links together. The ends of plates 19 on which the load rests are bent over the pins 17 and the centre of each plate is bent down to U-shape to receive a retaining pin 20 the ends of which are received in the circular recesses in the links thereby holding down the strip on to the pins 17.
