[Class 65(i)] In a counterbalanced door for a container, of the kind mounted on an offset horizontal pivot and influenced by a spring serving to counterbalance at least in part the weight of the door, the pivot 2 is located below a lower edge of the container 4, a portion of the door 1 projecting below the pivot, and the spring 5 acts on the lower part of the door. The pivot, which is tubular, is journalled in straps 2<1> and is carried by brackets 2<2>. The spring is connected to the pivot by a bolt 6 and to the door by a link 7.
