Abstract
641,216. Nuclear reactors. CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIQUE. March 26, 1946, No. 9373. Convention date, April 30, 1940. [Class 39 (iv)] A reactor comprises uranium enriched in isotope 235 from the naturally occurring 0.7 to 0.84 per cent or preferably to 3.5 or 7 per cent. This enrichment may be achieved by thermal diffusion and the uranium may be used in its metallic form or in a mixture or compound. The reactor may be constituted as described in Specifications 614,156 and 614,386.
