[Class 103 (i)] The brakes on the front wheels of a motor vehicle are cooled by means of an air collector 6, located in the space between the apertured front plate or grille 3 and the radiator 1, which directs a stream of air on to the brake drums 7. Although, as shown, the air is directed on to the outside of the brake back-plate, it may be led by means of a flexible tube into the space enclosed by the drum.
