Abstract

637,352. Cycle pedals. JENNY, W. April 21, 1948, No. 10990. [Class 136 (ii)] A cycle pedal comprises a tread crank frame 1 rotatably supported on the pedal spindle, and at least one non-slip rubber member 3 interchangeably arranged on projections 2 on the frame and having a projecting edge 9 to prevent the foot from sliding off laterally. The frame 1 has a closing cover 4 which has as annular bulge 5 and slots 7. The bulge 5 engages in an annular groove 6 and secures the cover 4 in position. As shown in Fig. 6, the frame is supported on a spindle 14 by ball bearings 12, 13 the play of which may be adjusted by a detachable ring 15.
