Abstract
637,335. Vehicle bodies. BUDD CO. Jan. 15, 1946, No. 27480/47. Convention date, Jan. 15, 1945. Divided out of 637,293. [Classes 103 (iv) and 108 (i)] In a vehicle body comprising separately sub-assembled side wall units, an underframe unit and a roof unit, substantially all accessories such as insulation, ventilating ducts, wiring and heating equipment are inserted in the separate units and each unit is trimmed by decorative panels, door handles, locks, window regulators, hand - rails and the like before final assembly into the body, only minor outfitting and trimming then remaining to be done. The description is substantially identical with that of Specification 637,293. In the Figure, heating equipment 801 and a luggage rack 95 is shown incorporated in a side wall sub-assembly B.
