636,168. Endless-belt conveyers. FISHER & LUDLOW, Ltd., and ORWIN, O. J. B. June 3, 1947. No. 29170/48. Divided out of 636,111. [Class 78 (i)] A sheet metal belt housing unit for use particularly in the belt conveyer of Specification 586,343 comprises longitudinally extending side members 118, 119 laterally spaced and connected by belt supporting means including skid plates 120, 121. The side members 118, 119 carry outwardly directed flanges 122, 123 connected to downwardly directed flanges 124, 125, and inwardly' directed flanges 126, 127, and the skid plates 120, 121 for the upper and lower belt runs are connected to the side members 118, 119 by flanges 128. Tables 133 may be bolted to the side members 118, 119 adjacent apertures 130 providing access to the belt, and a discharging plough 131 may be arranged to discharge the contents of the conveyer through the aperture 130, Specification 636,169 also is referred to.
