[Class 39 (ii)] [Also in Groups XVII and XXXI] A cycle or motor-cycle carrier consists of a casing 1 which has a lid 17 and is adapted to be mounted on stays 2 carried by the cycle or motor-cycle and comprises a main luggage compartment 3 and a further compartment 5 housing one or more batteries 10 for lighting lamps 6 located in apertures 8, the lid 17 being adapted to lock up the contents of the main and further compartments. Access to the compartment 5 and to an additional compartment 4 is obtained by means of hinged slidable or removable closure members 13, 14. A window 11 is provided in the underside of the compartment 5 to illuminate a registration number plate or other plate 12.
