635,522. Indicators for switches. RADIO GRAMOPHONE DEVELOPMENT CO., Ltd., and PARKINSON, W. R. April 26, 1948, No. 11412. Addition to 619,842. [Class 38 (v)] The front face 2 of the control knob of the parent Specification is formed with an annular V-groove 3 so that the beam of light passing through the aperture 9 from the lamp 12 is reflected radially outwards on to the side 1 so as to illuminate the indicating marks 4. The width of the groove is slightly greater then half the radius of the face 2 and the depth is half of the width. The degree of reflection may be increased by coating the outer face of the reflecting surface with an opaque material.
