635,111. Building blocks. BRANCO, D. M. Dec. 18, 1947, No. 33506. Convention date, Oct. 9, 1945. [Class 87 (i)] A composite building block comprises a main apertured portion 1 having openings 1b in its ends and vertical recesses 2 on its front face to receive ribs 3a on the rear face of a facing plate 3 secured thereto by cement. Grooves 6 are provided in the sides of the recesses 2 and grooves 5 in the sides of the ribs 3a and in the ends of the plate 3.
