Abstract

634,853. Injection-moulding machines. ANDERSON, D. March 19, 1947, No. 7602. [Class 87 (ii)] The nozzle end 6 has a plain shank 5 which is received in a bore 4 in the nozzle body 1, and has a flange 7 engaged by a shoulder 9 on a clamping ring 8, the ring being threaded on to the nozzle body and clamping the nozzle end against the body. A sealing ring 11 is provided between the shank and the body to prevent leakage of moulding material. The clamping ring and the body are of the same diameter, thus providing a continuous seating surface 10 for an electric heater.
