Abstract

634,108. Radiolocation. BLACK, D. H. Feb. 20, 1947, No. 5022. [Class 40 (vii)] A pulse radar system comprises selecting means connected between the receiver and a plan position indicator and responsive only to a plurality of signals repeated at the pulse recurrence frequency, thereby avoiding display of the majority of random signals. The selecting means preferably consists of a coincidence valve and a delay line, the received pulsed signals being applied direct to one control grid of the valve and to the other control grid through a delay line, comprising either a supersonic delay cell and an amplifier, or an electronic storage tube.
