[Class 78 (i)] In a conveyer for use with chocolate moulding machines of the kind having a plurality of mould carrying frames 1 freely pivoted between a pair of endless chains 3, said frames having conveying pieces 14, 16 which co-operate with conveying members in such a way that the frames are maintained in a predetermined attitude independently of the direction of movement of the conveyer chain, the conveying members are movable parallel with the mould frames and consist of one or more endless conveying chains 17, and revolving arms 11, 29 co-operating with the conveyer pieces 16 and 14 respectively. These conveyer pieces which are engaged by V-shaped slots 13 at the ends of arms 11, 29 and V- shaped members secured to chains 17, consist of pivots normal to the direction of motion of the conveyer. At the top of the vertical run conveying pieces 16, after leaving the chain 17, slide around a curved guide 30 which is pivoted, and counterbalanced by a weight 31, so that the guide and pivot will not bind. In a modification the slots 13 are replaced by fingers 28, as shown on arm 29, and the V-shaped conveying members are removed from chain 17, the conveying pieces 16 then being suitably shaped to pass between the links of the chain 17. In a further modification the V-shaped members on chains 17 are replaced by fingers similar to fingers 28 and a further chain similar to chain 17 is arranged to guide the conveyer pieces 14 from the arm 11 to the arm 29.
