In a conveyer of the kind consisting of parallel endless chains a b, on which articles such as bores may be carried, and in which the chains are constructed to be flexible in more than one plane so that they can negotiate a curve, the outer chain b in a curved portion of the conveyer is depressed below the level of the inner chain a by being passed around sprockets f, and is replaced throughout the curved portion by rollers h. The rollers are inclined transversely and are carried in a frame g towards the ends of the curved portion pairs of rollers h1 are provided. The chains are supported throughout their paths on guides c.
