[Class 65 (ii)] A ball and socket joint comprises a bearing member 25 press-fitted into a housing 10, a bearing member 26 slidable in the housing, a ball stud 20 tiltable and rotatable on the members, a washer 29 of resilient material, and a plate 30 secured to the housing and adapted to press the washer against the second bearing member for maintaining the stud and bearing members in bearing relationship. A lubricator 33 is provided.
