[Class 69 (ii)] In an apparatus for actuating a plurality of driving-pistons controlling the movements of liquid-pressure machines through a distribution of liquid under pressure to distributers controlling, in their turn, said driving pistons, the passages in the piston-rods and cylinders, described in the parent Specification, are omitted and the driving pistons a<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>1</SP>, c<SP>1</SP> actuate and lock one another mutually, the actuating and locking being obtained by means of devices a<SP>19</SP>, b<SP>19</SP>, c<SP>19</SP>, fast with the rods of said pistons and partaking of their reciprocating movement, parts a<SP>20</SP>, a<SP>21</SP>, a<SP>22</SP>, b<SP>20</SP>, c<SP>20</SP>, c<SP>22</SP> of said devices operating for this purpose upon releasers a<SP>24</SP>, a<SP>26</SP>, a<SP>28</SP>, b<SP>24</SP>, c<SP>24</SP>, c<SP>28</SP>, which put passages into communication which, on the one hand, receive the liquid under pressure and, on the other hand, transmit said liquid to the distributers a', b<SP>4</SP>, c'. The releasers comprise spring-loaded piston valves a<SP>23</SP>, a<SP>25</SP>, a<SP>27</SP>, b<SP>23</SP>, c<SP>23</SP>, c<SP>27</SP>, governing communication between the distributers and liquid pressure and exhaust. The intermediate device a<SP>21</SP> is pivoted to operate in one direction only.
