629,559. Projection screens. TURNER, E. G. April 22, 1947, No. 10785. [Class 97 (i)] A collapsable screen with roller 13 and top bar 17 is held in extended position by a single central strut 19, 20 which can fold down horizontal when not in use, the strut being telescopic and capable of being locked at any extension by a screw 25 or in predetermined positions by umbrella catches 22. The top end of the strut, as shown, engages in a socket 21 carried on the top bar. The roller 13 is mounted in a box 15, to which the strut member 19 is pivoted, and which has a lid 16.
