Abstract
A traveller for a textile ring spinning or twisting frame is made with a wearing surface comprising a water insoluble cellulose ether. The traveller may be made wholly of a cellulose ether or may have a metal core coated with the material. Preferred ethers are water insoluble alkyl celluloses, e.g. ethyl, propyl, or butyl cellulose. Specifications 565,848, [Group IX], and 627,157 are referred to.
