626,752. Optical contour projection apparatus. KODAK, Ltd. March 12, 1947, No. 6937. Convention date, March 12, 1946. Drawings to Specification. [Class 97 (i)] The shadow image of the contour is projected onto a screen carrying a dyed layer from which portions are removed, for example by scribing, to produce a reference contour, the screen also being illuminated by an auxiliary light source of a colour complementary to that of the dyed layer. The dyed layer may be green, and the auxiliary light magenta and of relatively low brightness. The projected image thus appears dark on a green ground with the reference contour magenta in the dark portion and white in the green ground surrounding it.
