Abstract
625,936. Switch contacts. HUMPHREYS, M. N. Jan. 20, 1947, No. 1742. [Class 38(v)] A contact-carrying arm for a switch comprises two insulating parts 10, 11 secured together with a contact or contactsupporting rocker 12 sandwiched between them. The rocker is pivoted at 13 and is urged outwardly by a spring 16, the rocker and the spring being received in recesses in the parts 10, 11. These parts are secured together and to a bar 34 by means of a screw 18 co-operating with two plates in a slot 20 in the parts 10, 11, as described in Specification 625,935, [Group XXII]. Outward movement of the rocker 12 is limited by a flared portion 22 of the parts 10, 11, which have a co-operating projection and recess 23, 23a, and a recess 14 on part 10 co-operating with a projection (not shown) on part 11.
