[Class 20 (iii) In a draught excluder in which the draught tends to press a flexible lamella into sealing position, this lamella is carried by a single piece of an elastic material which maintains it in operative position. A paper, metal foil or plastic foil lamella D may be glued internally, or as in Fig. 2 externally, to a V-shaped cardboard, sheet metal or stiff plastic sheet carrying strip T secured to the part K 1 and whose elasticity assists in pressing the lamella against the part K 2 ; carrying strip material may also be reduced in thickness along one side to provide an integral lamella. Fig. 4 shows a double folded carrying strip whose side T 3 serves to form an elastic support for the free limb of the V-shaped lamella D and for its own free side T 2 ; the draught excluder is secured by an adhesive. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also V-shaped metal clips (Fig. 6, Cancelled) to hold the draught excluder in position until the adhesive has set; these clips have two prongs 1, 3 which enter the door &c. frame, and a prong 2 which is pressed through the strips and is bent down to clamp them to the part B 1 . The invention may be so applied to both parts of double windows, doors, &c., that air tending to flow into the intervening space from either side presses the lamellae into sealing position. An arrangement is also described differing from Fig. 4 in that the side T 3 of the carrying strip forms a V within the V of the lamella, its outer edge and that of the side T 2 being doubled back against the lamella. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
