Abstract
625,138. Cathode-ray oscillographs. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. Oct. 29, 1946, No. 32090. Convention date, April 27, 1943. [Class 37] The X-plates 2 of a cathode-ray tube oscillograph are supplied with a potential em E h sin w h t and the y-plates 3 with a potential em E h cos w h t, where em is the signal to be delineated, and E h is an auxiliary oscillation, so that em is delineated in polar co-ordinates, from a point origin, by mixing em from source 5 and E h from source 10 in two pairs of push-pull mixing valves 6, 7 and 8, 9, whose anodes are connected in parallel.
