Abstract

[Class 38 (iv)] [Also in Group XL (c)] The subject matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 624,559. The claims relate to circuit arrangements for providing a control voltage when the relative timing of a recurrent input signal and a locally generated recurrent signal is such that the two signals co-exist for at least part of their duration comprising means for generating a local signal consisting of two substantially square waveforms having coincident front edges and different widths, means for obtaining a current proportional to the degree of co-existence of the input signal with one of said square waveforms and for obtaining a second current in opposition to said first current and proportional to the degree of co-existance of the input signal with the second of said square waveforms and means for deriving a control voltage in accordance with the magnitude and sense of the resultant of said two currents.
