[Classes 125(i) and 133] A metallic carrier for a glass or stoneware receptacle comprises a cylindrical body a with an integral base d upon which are welded three supporting feet e, two semi-circular handles b disposed side by side diametrically across and riveted to the open upper end of the carrier, and a locking bar f which passes through the handle g of a receptacle h and whose ends pass through and make a frictional engagement with slots k so that there is a locking engagement between the carrier and the handle g of the receptacle.
