[Also in Group XXX] A device for facilitating filling or for emptying containers comprises a cradle supported on a framework 10 for tipping movements in the vertical plane, and means for locking a container to the cradle during tipping. The cradle is constructed of tubular elements 1-6, and is supported by trunnions 8, one of which carries a lever 12 connected to pneumatic means 13-16. Pneumatic means 17 is carried in the base of the cradle and moves axially two push rods 20 adapted to engage in the feet of the container (not shown) to secure it in position.
