Abstract

622,346. Spring suspensions. COMPAGNIE POUR LA FABRICATION DES COMPTEURS ET MATERIEL D'USINES A GAZ. March 13, 1947, No. 7034. Convention date, March 21, 1946. [Class 108 (ii)] Relates to an antivibration support for electro-magnetic resonance relays or other apparatus comprising a supporting frame 8 mounted on three or more conical springs 3 disposed so that the centre of gravity of the apparatus and frame is in the vertical line passing through the centre of gravity of the surface defined by the points of suspension. According to the invention, the spires of each spring which are of small diameter are arranged close together and screwed on to the threaded end of a mounting spindle 4, and each spring is disposed in a recess 2 in a structure 1 and bears against a washer 9 closing.the recess. The movements of the spindles relatively to the structure are limited by the size of the hole in the washer, and by the spacing of a collar 5 and pin 7 carried by each spindle.
