621,083. Jointed toy figures. METSAPURO, J. I. Dec. 23, 1946, No. 37702. Convention date, Dec. 31, 1945. [Class 132 (iii)] A toy figure, doll or animal comprises readily detachable members each consisting of a spherical head which fits into a corresponding socket 7 on the conical limb portions 4, each socket having one or more slits 9 in the wall 8. The slit 9 is big enough to allow the limb portions 4 to turn at right angles. The other parts of the figure comprise a head, body 1, connecting pegs 3, feet 5 and auxiliary pegs 6. The spherical heads are split to allow a spring fit in the sockets. If desired, the spherical head can be used as a ball and the limb portions as nine-pins. The parts may be constructed of wood or plastic material.
