Abstract

804,566. Dolls. GREINER & HAUSSER G.m.b.H. Sept. 26, 1956 [Sept. 27, 1955], No. 29425/56. Class 132(3) The legs of a doll are movable and, where they join the doll body a, each is provided with a concave surface f adjacent to a surface d, the two surfaces being complementary to two surfaces g, b formed on the body of the doll. In Fig. 4, the leg portion c is made of resilient material e,g. P.V.C., and includes a member k which may have a flange m to act as a friction member on the inner wall of the body of the doll. The member k retains the leg against the body surfaces g, b and, together with the leg surfaces d, f, acts as a friction member for causing the leg to remain in a set position. Fig. 5 shows a separate member i for engagement in apertures in the top of the leg and in the body. In a further construction the top of each leg may have a spherically shaped projection which fits into a corresponding aperture in the body, and a strand of rubber connects the two projections.
