620,046. Condensers; supplying current to rotating conductors. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. April 24, 1946, No. 12425. Convention date, April 24, 1945. [Classes 37 and 38 (i)] [Also in Group XXXIV] Electrical connection between the metallic shaft 10, and casing 9, of a variable electrical condenser, Fig. 3, is effected by two resilient metal plates 1, each slotted to form a plurality of contact fingers 7, which are bent to form a substantially cylindrical passage for the shaft. Each plate is secured to a metal bushing 2, Fig. 2, connected to the condenser casing and having a bore coaxial with the said cylindrical passage. The metal plates may be of beryllium copper, and the bushing of brass, both being coated with chromium or rhodium. Specification 511,415 is referred to.
