[Class 37] A tubular container 10 for an electrolytic condenser or the like has a fluid-tight barrier comprising a rigid sheet of insulating material 7 and a rubber layer 8 through which pass rivets 6. The electrical conductors 4 and 17 are gripped tmder the rivets and connection is made to the pins 13 by the wire 17 soldered thereto. The end closing disc 11 and the barrier disc are held in position by spinning over the container edge to compress a rubber gasket 15 and cause a projection 14 on disc 11 to compress the rubber layer 8.
